What is the true range of the Atto 3?

Range values provided by NZ BYD distributors are an estimate.

There do not appear to be any WLTP tests.

China uses the CLTC (China light-duty vehicle test cycle), and the range values for the BYD Yuan Plus (as the Atto 3 is called in China) are different.

The CLTC is a different cycle from the WLTP, and its range values are much higher.

However, research shows a WLTP equivalent is around 74-84% of the CLTC range.

  • Yuan Plus (49.92 kWh) CLTC range: 430 km. WLTP range: 318-361 km.
  • Yuan Plus (60.48 kWh) CLTC range: 510 km. WLTP range: 377-428 km.
