BYD sells five fully electric models in New Zealand: the Atto 1, Atto 2, Atto 3, Seal and Sealion 7. Prices start at $30,990 for the Atto 1 and go up to $77,990 for the Seal. The line-up covers three SUVs, a hatchback and a sedan.
WLTP range runs from 220 km on the Atto 1 Essential to 570 km on the Seal Premium. The Atto 1 is the second most affordable electric hatchback on sale in New Zealand and the Atto 2 the third most affordable electric small SUV.
The Atto 5 is coming to New Zealand in Q1 2027. The Dolphin (2023–2026) is no longer sold new but is available used.
