Background
Smart (lowercase) is a German vehicle marque – arising from a joint venture between Mercedes-Benz and Geely Holding group.
Initially, the smart marque supplied microcars – the smart fortwo – which can be seen in NZ as a used import.
The partnership with Geely lead to the development of newer vehicles (called the #1 and #3).
